In 2015, Dr. Platis has taken up the position of Chairman of\nthe MAP S.Platis Group and MAP FinTech \u2013 the financial technology subsidiary of\nthe Group, as well as of the executive education and professional studies\ninstitutes, the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF) and the\nLondon Governance and Compliance Academy (LGCA), where since 2009 he has been\nthe Chairman of the Association of Cyprus International Investment Firms\n(ACIIF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>EDUCATION &amp;\nQUALIFICATIONS:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He has taught Financial Accounting for the MSc\nFinance Programme at the London Business School, Financial Engineering and Risk\nManagement for the MBA Programme at the Cyprus International Institute of\nManagement, served as a Director of RiskLab (Cyprus) in association with the\nUniversity of Cyprus and has been an associate of the Department of Applied\nEconomics of the University of Cambridge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>AREAS OF EXPERTISE\n&amp; EXPERIENCE:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Platis is certified to provide a number of\ninvestment services, and served as Internal Auditor \/ Compliance Officer \/ Risk\nManager for a significant number of Investment Firms providing investment\nservices in the European Union and globally and acted as a consultant on\nfinancial, risk management and economic matters to a number of organisations,\ncommittees and boards of directors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Between 2003-2015, he was being regularly\ninvited by international media to talk about current economic and political\naffairs, including the BBC, ITV, CNN, Bloomberg, ERT, MEGA, CyBC.
