Intellectual Property Rights


The Intellectual Property Rights in LGCA Courses, Qualifications, Study Materials, Exams, course outlines and other supporting materials (“LGCA Materials”) are owned by and shall remain vested in the London Governance and Compliance Academy Ltd.

You shall not acquire any interest in any of the Intellectual Property Rights in any “LGCA Materials” at any time.

By agreeing to these Terms you agree that you will not reproduce, share, rent, lease, sub-license, loan, copy, modify, adapt, translate, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or create derivative works based on the whole or any part of any “LGCA Materials”.

Data protection


LGCA does not sell, trade or rent your information to others. We will add your details to the LGCA database to process your request, and so that you can be kept up to date with relevant details of our, or our associated companies, training, updates and services. From time to time, LGCA holds joint events with selected partners. If you book to attend one of these events, your details will be made available to the event partner. To opt-out of receiving any communications from LGCA or the event partner, please notify us.

 

Cancellations and Refunds

 

The full amount of the seminar/course participation fee is due upon acceptance of your registration by the LGCA. If you fail to settle your invoice prior to the commencement of the seminar/course, LGCA reserves the right to cancel/withdraw your registration and decline your participation to the course/seminar. Furthermore, LGCA reserves the right to proceed with legal actions for damages should you fail to settle the invoice up to one month from the commencement of the seminar/course.

A participant has a right to apply for a refund for an e-Learning course within 72 hours of purchase, provided that they have not accessed their course materials. A PARTICIPANT IS NOT ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND if they have accessed their course material or communicated with any course tutors.

Refund requests in conformity with the above are to be addressed to the LGCA Support Team at info@lgca.uk citing the Participant’s name, e-mail address, the title of the course they would like refunded, and the date of the purchase.

If you are purchasing as a consumer rather than a business, you are entitled to cancel your order within 7 days of placing it. If you have purchased a service that begins within 7 days of placing your order, your right to cancel ceases when the service starts.
