Richard Comotto

Richard Comotto’s professional interests include securities financing, collateral management and electronic trading in OTC markets. He has been occasionally advising bodies such as Asian Development Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank on the development of repo markets in Asia and Africa.

Richard is the author of the ‘Guide to Best Practice in the European Repo Market’, Repo FAQs and ‘Recommendations on Reporting under SFTR’ published by ICMA, for whom, he also does some courses on repo and the GMRA, as well as the semi-annual survey of the European repo market. Currently he is advising the SFTR Task Force.
