Pantelis Angelides has extensive experience in Governance, Risk Management and Compliance, as well as in project management. He provides expert advice in the fields of Risk Management, Compliance, Physical & Information Security and Operational Resilience.
He headed the corporate affairs and regulatory compliance function of a multinational organisation and was responsible for Information Security, data governance and protection, both at strategic and tactical level for a number of years. During this time Pantelis developed technical skills and expertise on how to turn regulatory challenges into opportunities. Building on this capacity, Pantelis has developed his privacy and Data Protection skills further by completing a Certified Data Protection Officer and trainer qualification. Currently, he provides data protection training courses at executive level and leads GDPR compliance projects both in Cyprus and Internationally. He trained more than 1000 delegates and Privacy and Data Protection professionals from various sectors. Pantelis is a Board Member of the Cyprus Chapter of the European Association of Data Protection Professionals (EADPP) and an active member of various other prestigious organisations globally, to stay upfront in new developments and acquire new knowledge relating to risk and data protection.
